infielder Felipe Lopez to a major-league contract Tuesday.
Lopez was released by the Washington Nationals last week in a roster upheaval.
The 28-year-old was hitting .234 with 20 doubles and 25 RBI in 100 games this
season.
For his six-year career, Lopez has compiled a .256 average with 67 home runs,
313 RBI and 105 stolen bases in 830 combined games with Toronto, Cincinnati
and Washington.
